Capital Campus had an interview with the extraordinary guitarist Kato Change. At 26, this musician has traveled the world and performed on different stages sharing his music with the masses. With a story that proves that resilience and patience can take you to new heights, Kato‘s story can be anyone’s story but his persistence and his love for his craft set him apart.
A believer in the power of collaborations Kato’s first album “The Change Experience” debuted on SoundCloud in 2015 featuring Mayonde, Trina Mungai, Lisa Oduor Noah and much more. With 8 years as a professional guitarist, he continues to curve out his own path in music bringing a unique sound to the music scene. Kato’s most notable collaborations while working on Coke Studio series include playing with continental greats Salif Keita, King Sunny Ade, Seun Kuti as well as international artists like Ne-Yo, Aloe Blacc, and Trey Songz.
