YouTube beauty trend has women rubbing toothpaste on their boobs.
Video blogger and guru NaturalBeauty556 shared a video – titled ‘Tighten Sagging Breasts in 6 Days Using Toothpaste – No Jokes, 100% Working Result’ – claiming that a mixture of toothpaste, plain flour, egg whites, and grated cucumber would help tighten the area.
Speaking to the Metro, Christopher Inglefield, the medical director of the London Bridge Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Clinic, said: “This bizarre advice simply preys on the many women who are unhappy with the size of their breasts and who might resort to bizarre ‘miracle fixes’ to find a solution to their problem.
“Sadly, like a lot of guidance on the internet, the Vaseline and toothpaste method of breast augmentation is fake news and pure online quackery. Your breasts may end up smelling minty fresh, but it’s highly unlikely there will be any growth.”
YouTube sensation, MakeupMesha, uploaded a video in response to this bizarre beauty hack called ‘What Vaseline &Toothpaste Did for My T*ts’ and, unsurprisingly, after 30 days, the blogger saw no change at all. MakeupMesha said: “It did not work. I tried it every night, like an idiot and had my boyfriend looking at me like, ‘what is she doing?'”
