Weird World: Bar devices new profit-making format, charging customers by the hour

A bar is charging customers by the hour instead of per drink.

The Open Concept establishment in St. Louis, Missouri has offered punters a fresh model by letting them have unlimited numbers of drinks, for an average of $10 depending on the package.

The company’s website reads: “At our bar we don’t sell drinks, we sell time.”

While the bar doesn’t offer food – besides select Taco Tuesday and Bottomless Brunch days – customers are allowed to order takeaway at any time.
