Singer August Alsina has fans in a chokehold after seemingly coming out.
Appearing on the reboot of VH1’s The Surreal Life, the 30-year-old No Love singer makes the confession in a rather cryptic way. “And then what do you know? Love showed up, but in a new way. I want to share that and really honor the person that I love and that loves me back and teaching my so much about love and healing. I want to do that in front of the world because it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like,” He discusses.
A man walks in the set, sits next to August, the two share a hug and Alsina tells him “I love you.” The singer, however, did not clarify the status of the relationship, leaving fans to piece the bits together in curiosity.
The video ends with a photo of a happy August and a caption that states he is “shedding his old skin, in order to begin again.”
This comes two years after Jada Pinkett Smith, 51, admitted to having an affair with Alsina in what she infamously termed an ‘entanglement.’
