Singer Lizzo has dropped her comeback single dubbed Rumors and that features rapper Cardi B.
The song marks Lizzo’s return to the scene after she has kept a low music profile for a few years. Rumors is the singer’s clap back anthem to who talk smack-talk her on the internet, with regard to her affinity to wear skimpy outfits and carefree way of life.
The singer is synonymous with her bold videos and pictures of her half-naked twerking or just flicking it up with camera, something she is constantly adamant is in her quest to empower other plus-sized women.
The production entails a pronounced bass-synth with defiant horns. Renowned video director Tanu Muino directed the video, a flick laden with a bevy of plus-sized women dancing and displaying sheer confidence.
They don’t know I do it for the culture, doddamn..They say I should watch the sh*t I post yeah, goddamn..They say I turn big girls into h*es yeah, goddamn..goes the first verse in part. The goddess-themed video sees both musicians channel Muses, the ancient Greek goddesses of fire, adorned in gold outfits .
So yeah, the rumors are true. Lizzo is back, b*tches!
