Kibra MP Kenneth Okoth who is battling cancer has responded to claims on Twitter that he has passed on.
The member of Parliament went ahead to tweet that he was alive and that Kenyans on Twitter should stop killing him before his time with rumors. This was after the news of him being dead made him the number one trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon (09.04.19).

His constituents, friends, and followers had since been sending their condolence messages on Twitter as well as resharing the unverified information. Something that the vocal legislator had to address on the same platform.
Early last month a picture of him went viral on social media. The picture showed just how much chemotherapy was affecting him and Kenyans went ahead to send him comforting messages that he will be able to win his cancer battle.
Mr. Okoth is battling stage four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver. “I was diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver,” said the 41-year old as quoted by a local daily.
Colorectal cancer (CRC), also known as bowel cancer and colon cancer, is the development of cancer from the colonor rectum (parts of the large intestine).
