50 Scholarships Available To Study, Live & Play In Mauritius, Apply Now

Mauritius University Representative host an education fair on 9th June at the Hilton Hotel.

 

According to Trishilla Benydin-Koolwont, Manager at the Board of Investment Mauritius “there is lots on offer in Mauritius.” The tropical island is the ideal place to learn and grow as a student, only 4 hour-flight away from Nairobi, Kenya. In a meeting with businessman and entreprenuer Chris Kirubi, Mauritian officials announced they are offering 50 scholarships to students for undergraduate degrees.

 

The scholarship application submission now open to all. Requirements require students to submit an application letter to the Kenyan Ministry of Education as well as a reference letter. Scholarships awarded will have students begin in 2018.

 

The fair spearheaded by the Board of Investment of Mauritius also featured the Mauritius University Representatives from 11 institutions offering a myriad of courses. University of Technology Mauritius has innovate courses championing public-private patnerships and professional courses for career advancement offering training for trainers. Also present at the fair is Mahatma Gandi Institute Mauritius offering performing arts courses. There also several satellite campuses located on the island of Mauritius including Middlesex University Mauritius Campus, Greenwich University Pakistan Mauritius Campus,YK Business School, Aberystwyth University  Mauritius Branch Campus, VATEL Mauritius, Amity Global Business School, The American Campus and public institution University Des Mascareignes that has campuses at the north and south of the island. The Open University of Mauritius also present at the fair, is known for offering flexible diploma and degree offers through distance learning.
