4 Feel-good shows worth binge-Watching

As areas of Kenya go into lockdown, it is essential that we remain positive and entertained during these distressing times.

Here are some of our favorite shows we recommend that are sure to keep your spirits lifts at this time:

1.The Office

The Office has 9 seasons of endless banter, and good fun since it was first released in 2003. The classic chronicles the lives of the employees at Dunder Mifflin, featuring some great actors including Steve Carell, John Kransinski, Jenn Fischer and Mindy Kaling.

Since you have time to immerse yourself into the lives of these exciting characters, do not hesitate.

2. New Girl

Teacher Jess brings friends together into her quirky, simple yet puzzling world, and we must admit it makes for good television. Launched in 2008, the show aired for 7 years but continues to pull in viewers to this day. Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield, Hannah Simone come together for the comedy-drama that is a must watch.

Watch the crew navigate adulting, love and life in just 146 episodes.

3.Queer Eye

Who does not love a bit of a transformation? The Netflix production ‘Queer Eye’ is a refresh of the same that aired in 2003. Now bigger and better, the show offers advice on self-love, personal growth, nutrition and more to uplift guests with a unique holistic approach.

Watch as chef Antoni Porowski,Bobby Berk, grooming consultant Jonathan Van Ness, fashion designer Tan France and culture expert Karamo Brown make special connections with guests. It’s emotional but guaranteed to raise spirits.

4.Modern Family

This show has been a fan favorite for years. Winning more than 10 Emmys and several other accolades, the show has been a television staple since 2009. Now finally over, the show is perfect to binge-watch, with 250 episodes of entertaining family dynamics to content with.

According to CNN, “Modern Family,” the ABC series, will air a final one-hour episode — following a retrospective of the program’s 11-year, 250-episode run.
