Despite the pious beginnings of this Irish holiday, it has now become popular reason for many to drink themselves into a stupor. A celebration enjoyed by those of Irish descent and the general public, it is a day of festivities and a sea of green.

To truly celebrate St. Patrick’s Day here are 3 things you should know.
