An 18 year-old developer who sold his news app to Yahoo has again made headlines at Apple’s annual developer conference. Nick D’Aloisio was among the winners recognized at Apple’s WWDC for raising “the bar in design, technology and innovation.”
Nick is no stranger to receiving accolades. He sold his Summly News Digest to Yahoo for $33 million. The coveted design and development award by yahoo aims to recognize outstanding apps.
“The developers of these exceptional apps combined design and technology in creative, compelling, and powerful ways,” said Apple.
Yahoo News Digest made the cut among 11 other apps including Threesi, Blek, Cinemagraph Pro and PanoPerfect.
