NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 17 \u2013 FKF Premier League side Tusker FC has confirmed the arrival of three foreign players, a mid-season addition to their squad as they look to rescue a season that has been sliding downhill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brewers have signed goalkeeper Pavelh Ndzila, left back Servel Akouala and striker Selasie Bless Akai, on short term contracts until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Ndzila and Servel are of Congo Brazzaville descent while Akai is from Ghana. The two were registered in time before the January transfer window closed a fortnight ago, but have just arrived in the country to link up with the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to add these three players of international experience to the team and we are confident their presence can ignite improved performances. We have had a difficult season and hopefully we can turn things around in the second leg. We needed to bring in experience to add steel to the squad,\u201d said CEO Sam Nzau, speaking to the club\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n

Ndzila has been signed from Rwandese side Rayon Sports while Akouala arrives from Algerian outfit US Biskra. Akai arrives from Beninese club Dadje FC where he was the top scorer last season.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cI am delighted to be at Tusker and my ambition is to help the team rise from where it is currently. A striker is expected to score goals and that is my ambition for the team, during the time I will be here,\u201d Akai, who has also played for his home country side Hearts of Oak said.<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper Ndzila is not new to the East African region, having played in Rwanda with Rayon Sports and their rivals APR. He also played for the Congo Brazzaville Under-20 team, and was a starter for champions AS Otoho d\u2019Oyo.<\/p>\n

He comes back to Kenya for the second time, having played against Gor Mahia during the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup campaign. \u201cI have good memories of this place and I want to create more. It is an honour to join Tusker and I am looking forward to helping the team,\u201d said the shot stopper.<\/p>\n

Ndzila is a two-time goalkeeper of the year in the Rwandese Premier League, and was also named the CECAFA Kagame Cup goalkeeper of the year in 2024.<\/p>\n

Leftback Akouala, 22, is keen to make an imprint in his first sojourn in the region, having played in Algeria straight from his native Brazzaville. \u201cI am excited to be here, and I look forward to the challenge ahead.
