\"RAMIRES-MODRIC\"<\/a>LONDON, England, June 14- Chelsea midfielder Ramires has done little to quell rumours that he could be on his way to Real Madrid this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu to play under former boss Carlo Ancelotti, with a possible swap deal with Sami Khedira reportedly on the cards.<\/p>\n

Ramires was signed by the Blues when Ancelotti was in charge at Stamford Bridge, and the 27-year-old admits he still admires the Italian tactician.<\/p>\n

“Ancelotti is a special coach for me, and I really appreciate him,” he was quoted as saying by Marca.<\/p>\n

“He helped me a lot when I arrived at Chelsea and he was very important in helping me adapt to my position as a central midfielder.<\/p>\n

“He\u2019s a very good coach.”<\/p>\n

The Madrid-based publication also reports that Ancelotti is a fan of Ramires’ style of play, while Madrid president Florentino Perez has given the go-ahead to sign the Brazil international, who is currently on international duty at the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Madrid, though, will face a tough task to complete the deal, with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho said to be keen to keep the versatile midfield man in London.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
