\"INSIGNE-ARSENAL\"<\/a>LONDON, England, June 7- Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne is ‘honoured’ by reported interest from Arsenal, according to the Italian’s agent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 23-year-old Italy international is currently preparing for the World Cup, but reports have suggested he could soon be the subject of a \u00a317m bid from the Gunners.<\/p>\n

His agent Antonio Ottaiano claims Arsenal would be an attractive option for Insigne, although he will not discuss a possible move until a firm offer is made.<\/p>\n

“We take into account the praising reports that Wenger has given about the player,” Ottaiano told www.tuttomercatoweb.com.<\/p>\n

“We are honoured that a club like Arsenal could have Lorenzo on their wish list. However, from here to take it to the next level, that is a possible transfer, there is a huge mountain in between named Napoli.<\/p>\n

“The (Naples) club consider him without a shadow of a doubt as one of their cardinal players for their ambitious project. Hence, as of today, I don’t see that there can be any further developments unless Arsenal speak to Napoli directly and Napoli change their view on Lorenzo’s role here.”<\/p>\n

Insigne, who made 36 league appearances as Napoli finished third in Serie A, is under contract with the club until June 2018.<\/p>\n
