Glam Cam: The beautiful sights of fashion and class at the SOYA Gala

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 24 – Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?

Sporting royalty gathered at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre on Friday night for the annual Sportsperson of the Year Awards (SOYA) where the best performing sportsmen and women from 2022 were feted, in the 19th edition of the event.

You are probably used to seeing them in their playing kits, boots and spikes but on Friday, they all traded their gear for glamourous suits and dresses as they gathered to celebrate Kenya’s sporting crème de la crème.

Here are some of the best moments from Friday’s SOYA gala, as captured by one of Kenya’s top photographer Kelly Ayodi.
