Chap Dee crowned #KOT5Aside Mombasa champs

MOMBASA, Kenya, Dec 18 – Chap Dee Boys were on Saturday crowned #KOT5Aside Mombasa Edition champions after beating home side Isco FC 2-0 in a hotly contested final.

Chap Dee who were runners up from the last edition held at Ligi Ndogo Grounds eased to the final after overcoming Samba from Mombasa while Isco got the better of defending champions Unfit FC.

Chapa Dee Received Prize money worth Sh100,000 courtesy of Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom and Odibets while Iscos received Sh60,000 with Samba getting Sh40,000 after finishing third.

Tournament Founder Alex Muange said he was impressed with the turn out and support.

“The turnout was amazing, I was really impressed, all the teams showed us some great skills but there can only be one winner, it was a dream come true to have the tournament in Mombasa and we look forward to visiting more towns in the future,” he stated.
