NAIROBI, Kenya, Sep 28 – Tusker FC stroke three goals in the second half to hand Sofapaka a 3-1 beating at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos as the Kenyan Premier League entered round four on Saturday.
Mike Madoya broke the deadlock a minute after resuming for the second half before Hillary Wandera doubled the lead in the 53rd minute as Luke Namanda rounded up the win in the 72nd minute.
Ellie Asieche scored the consolation for Sofapaka on the stroke of stoppage time in a result that saw Robert Matono’s charges pick a second successive win after beating Zoo FC 2-1 away in Kericho and the now have seven points from the opening four rounds.
Dominant Tusker could have taken the lead in the first half, but they fluffed their chances including seeing Timothy Otieno squander a penalty.

In other results, newbies Kisumu All Stars lost 1-2 at home to visitors Western Stima, Ulinzi Stars were 3-1 winners over Sony Sugar in a match hosted at the Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium.
