LONDON, United Kingdom, Sep 25 – Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly seeking a massive wage boost if he is to sign a new long-term contract at Old Trafford.
Pogba remains at Old Trafford despite the France star stating his desire to leave during the off-season transfer window.
The Red Devils are reportedly willing to offer Pogba a new contract, with former United captain Gary Neville recently saying that the club should steer well clear of negotiating with his agent Mino Raiola.
And now Okdiario (via Goal) claims that Raiola wants United to stump up Sh 3.8 billion (£30m) a year to tie Pogba down to a new deal at the club.
That would see the France international taking home a weekly wage of over Sh 68 million (€600,000) a week if United agreed to the deal.
There have been rumours that Pogba could move to Real Madrid over the summer with his contract at Old Trafford expires in 2021.
By demanding a huge amount of money, Raiola is understood to be trying to force United into allowing Pogba to move to Real.
