Nigeria only hopeful with positive semis record

Cairo, Egypt, Jul 14 – Nigeria are the only 2019 Africa Cup of Nations semi-finalists in Egypt who boast a positive record in the penultimate stage of the competition.

The three-time champions have been involved in 13 last-four matches, winning seven and losing six.

Algeria have won only two of six semi-finals in the biennial African competition, Tunisia two of five and Senegal one of three.

Here, AFP Sport lists the semi-finals results of the four contenders to succeed Cameroon as African champions:
