Messi enjoys final days of holiday with wife

LONDON, United Kingdom, Jul 9 – Lionel Messi and his new wife Antonella were joined on the last few days of their honeymoon by team-mate Luis Suarez and his family.

The Barcelona stars were all smiles as they lapped up the sunshine in Ibiza before turning their attention to the forthcoming campaign.

The pair are due to report for pre-season training under new Barca boss Ernesto Valverde on Friday.

A few days later Barcelona are due to fly to America for a training camp and friendly matches against Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Argentina team-mate Pablo Zabaleta has revealed Messi gave every guest at his wedding a bottle of his own-branded wine.

Messi wedded his long-term partner Antonella at a star-studded ceremony in his hometown Rosario on June 30.

Zabaleta was one of the 260 guests at the lavish event, along with the likes of Neymar and Suarez.

And the West Ham defender revealed that each guest received a special bottle of ‘Leo Malbec’ – the red wine created especially for Messi to raise money for his charitable foundation.

‘We got a bottle of really good wine, a Malbec, which Lionel has put his name on the bottle,’ Zabaleta told West Ham’s official website.
