MANCHESTER, United Kingdom, Nov 30 – Bacary Sagna is unsure if his future remains at Manchester City after revealing he is yet to open discussions over a new deal with the Premier League club.
The 33-year-old former Auxerre and Arsenal defender, who joined City in 2014, has a contract at Eastlands until June 2017.
He has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 side Marseille, and admits to not knowing where he will be playing his football next season.
The France international, who has made 69 appearances in all competitions for City, told beIN Sports: “My contract expires at the end of the season.
“I am not thinking about it, though. I just take things as they come and try to give my all.
“There have been no negotiations as of yet, so I do not know what will happen.”
With regards to a move to the French south coast, he added: “Marseille are a club that I like a lot, a club that is part of the history of French football.”
