RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil, Aug 16 –  Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas scored an upset victory over world champion Allyson Felix to win the Olympic 400m gold medal.

Miller snatched victory with a desperate head-first dive over the line to pip US star Felix in a time of 49.44sec.

Felix took silver with 49.51sec while Shericka Jackson of Jamaica claimed bronze in 49.85.
