UNITED KINGDOM, June 6 – Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that there will be a “big announcement” on Tuesday, likely relating to the speculation about him joining Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic left Paris Saint-Germain after four seasons at the end of the 2015/16 campaign and is reportedly set to ply his trade in the Premier League.

According to a source close to United, the club are currently in advanced talks to sign the 34-year-old on a one-year deal.

Speaking about the announcement following Sweden’s 3-0 win over Wales, Ibrahimovic revealed that the news will be huge.

“There will be a big announcement on the 7th. It will be this summer’s big bomb,” he told Swedish television station Fotbollskanalen. “It feels good, feels better than good. A lot will happen with this news, so hopefully you’ll all enjoy.”

While many expect Ibrahimovic to confirm his move to United, he is also launching his new line of clothing on Tuesday and could be using the “big announcement” to create more hype.
