NAIROBI, February 23 – Pay-media company MultiChoice has launched the DStv Compact package that will showcase the world’s football top leagues in the world.

Under the new package that was unveiled on Tuesday, the English Premier League (EPL), La Liga as well as the Euro 2016 will be available to DStv Compact subscribers in all their HD glory, at no extra cost.

SuperSport also unveiled two new sports channels, SuperSport 11 and Supersport 12 which will be dedicated to showcasing the EPL and La Liga respectively on the DStv Compact bouquet.

“One of MultiChoice’s key priorities is to put our subscribers’ needs at the heart of everything we do and since these have been tough economic times for everyone, we realised that our subscribers could use some good news.

“We are excited that we can now deliver the best football action in the world to our Compact subscribers while ensuring this development doesn’t negatively impact them financially,” MultiChoice Kenya General Manager, Walingo Chiruyi announced.

This means all Compact football fans will now be able to enjoy the biggest games of the season including this Sunday’s big clash between long-time rivals, Arsenal and Manchester United (SS11).

The month-long Euro 2016 tournament kicks-off on June 10 to July 10 on the new SuperSport channels and will keep football subscribers enthralled while they wait for the new season to start in August.
