LONDON, November 30- Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has suffered a hamstring injury. In other shock news, night follows day.

Arsene Wenger has spent the last few weeks discussing Sanchez’s resilience, but warning that he was showing signs of fatigue.

Yet Sanchez started Arsenal’s Premier League game at Norwich, then substituted after apparently pulling his hamstring during the second half.

Last weekend Wenger claimed that “a break makes him tired”, but the Chilean’s muscles have finally given way after 1,659 games without a break.

“I take information, especially from the medical people who know him and treat him everyday and after, we look at his overall recovery as well,” Wenger said in midweek. “When there are alarming signs, we want to make the right decision at the right moment but as long as the guys are confident, they score goals – it is always difficult to rest them.”

It is Arsene, but it’s also your job. And your own negligence is again threatening to derail Arsenal’s season.

“Wenger said there was a hamstring worry over Sanchez, yet still played him. Afraid to say only one man to blame on this one. #afc,” Daily Mirror’s John Cross, a diehard Arsenal fan Tweeted.

Here’s the golden rule: When John Cross calls Wenger out, you know he’s f**ked up.
