MANCHESTER, November 28- Manchester City will be looking to get back to winning ways when they welcome Southampton to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Citizens are now on a two-match losing streak, having lost 4-1 to Liverpool in the league last weekend, before a 1-0 defeat to Juventus in the Champions League in midweek.
The loss to the Reds last Saturday saw City drop to third in the league standings, two points off new leaders Leicester City.
Manuel Pellegrini has several injury concerns to contend with as Joe Hart looks set to miss out this weekend after picking up a hamstring injury in midweek.
Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta and Eliaquim Mangala are also ruled out, but City are hopeful David Silva will pass a fitness test ahead of the game.
Southampton, meanwhile, are also looking for a return to winning form following their 1-0 defeat to Stoke City last time out.
Prior to the loss, the Saints were unbeaten in eight games in all competitions and on a three-match winning run.
That form sees them sit in eighth in the league standings with 20 points from their first 13 games of the season.
Shane Long is expected to start up front for Ronald Koeman, with Graziano Pelle suspended and Jay Rodgriguez ruled out through injury.
Sadio Mane should feature on Saturday, despite carrying an unspecified injury.
