DORTMUND, October 22- Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has committed his future to the club following reports of a possible approach by Liverpool.
Gundogan has been heavily linked with a move away from the Signal Iduna Park in recent seasons and the Reds have emerged as potential suitors following the appointment of former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp at Anfield earlier this month.
The Germany international, however, insists there is no substance to rumours suggesting he is eyeing a reunion with his former boss and says he is happy to stay at Die Borussen beyond the current campaign.
“This is an issue that is always floating around,” Gundogan told Press Association.
“I am very happy with BVB and feel very comfortable here. Of course, I can imagine remaining here beyond the end of the season.”
