LONDON, October 18- Liverpool striker Divock Origi says new boss Jurgen Klopp is already making his mark at the club following their 0-0 draw with Tottenham on Saturday.

Origi was the only fit striker for the Reds on the day and made his first Premier League start for the club after Daniel Sturridge went down injured in training earlier in the week, joining other frontmen Christian Benteke and Danny Ings on the sidelines.

The Belgian praised Klopp’s influence on the team following the stalemate at White Hart Lane, and believes the former Borussia Dortmund boss will bring success to the club once more.

“(Klopp told us) just to play with passion and no fear. He believes in everybody – the young players, the old players, we’re all here because we have quality,” he told the club’s official website.

“We just have to work hard and trust him, and we all trust him so I think we can have a good season. When you look at the coach, he sends out a very strong feeling, a very powerful feeling. You can see it through the team.

“Today we had a lot of energy, we pressed, we played with a lot of joy. We are a very strong together as a club with the fans also, it’s a very nice thing.”
