Arsenal legend Adams to visit Kenya in Dec

NAIROBI, October 8 – Arsenal legend and former England captain, Tony Adams will visit Kenya in December where one lucky family will host him.

During his two day visit, Adams will be joining a select group of Barclays’ customers for an exclusive English Premier League VIP viewing experience before kitting the one lucky family in the full regalia of their favourite club in England’s top flight league.

The former Gunners skipper, nicknamed “Mr Arsenal”, spent his entire playing career of 22 years in the club and is considered one of the greatest Arsenal players of all times.

With Arsenal, Adams won four top flight division titles, uniquely captaining a title-winning team in three different decades, three FA Cups, two Football League Cups, a UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and three FA Community Shields.

During his career, Adams made 669 appearances, placing him second in Arsenal’s all-time appearance records after David O’Leary.

He is the most successful captain in the Club’s history, having led Arsenal to ten major honours and to commemorate its 125th anniversary, Arsenal unveiled his statue alongside that of record scorer, Thierry Henry and former club manager Herbert Chapman.

Between now and December 31, in addition to offering customers the chance to meet Adams, Barclays is offering new and existing clients the chance to win an exclusive EPL experience for them and a partner to watch a game live in the United Kingdom.

In order to participate, entrants need to open a Barclays account and transfer their salary into this account each month with customers who register for online banking standing a chance of winning two tickets to a VIP EPL Fan Zone with Adams.
