LONDON, July 1- Arda Turan’s agent claims the midfielder will leave Atletico Madrid this week, but denied he has already completed a medical with Manchester United.
It was revealed last week that the Turkey international has decided to end his four-year association with Atletico during the off-season, with the English Premier League his preferred destination.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and United have all been linked with Turan after his advisor, Ahmed Bulut, said that discussions were taking place with three unnamed clubs.
But while Bulut confirmed his client’s future will be sorted out in the coming days, he dispelled rumours the 28-year-old has agreed a move to Old Trafford.
“There are lots of things being published about the transfer, and not all that is being said is correct,” he told Turkish channel NTVSpor.
“We want to clarify that, at this moment, there is a lot of pressure, but we do not want to make a formal declaration before he has signed.
“But yes, in the next four days, Arda will decide which club he plays for next season.”
On the claims from Turkish Channel 360, Bulut added: “Arda has not met with Manchester United or passed a medical when you find out who his new team are on Friday you will all agree that we made the right choice.”
