LONDON, June 5- Former Manchester United loanee Radamel Falcao has expressed a desire to once again try his luck in the English Premier League.
The Colombia international spent the 2014/15 season on loan with the Red Devils, but has since returned to parent club Monaco.
United decided against taking up the option of retaining the services of Falcao, who only scored four goals in 26 league appearances for Louis van Gaal’s side.
However, the 29-year-old striker is hoping to continue his career in England, with newly-crowned top-flight champions Chelsea reportedly interested in a deal.
Falcao is quoted in the Daily Telegraph as saying: “It has been speculated a lot about my next team, but I tried to stay calm. I would like to continue in England, we’ll decide [my next team] in the coming weeks.”
He has also been linked with former employers Atletico Madrid, who sold the South American to Monaco during the 2013 off-season, as well as Spanish La Liga rivals Valencia.
