LAS VEGAS, May 26- Floyd Mayweather has been pictured partying for the first time since comprehensively defeating Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand on Saturday, and the undefeated world champion’s choice of venue was far from inconspicuous.
Mayweather treated his Money Team and his esteemed guests to unlimited champagne at Las Vegas’ super-club Drai’s, as Chris Brown performed on his birthday at the crowning jewel of The Cromwell Hotel.
This was the perfect venue for Mayweather to flaunt his wealth once more, at the home of where partying in Las Vegas is being redefined.
The rooftop oasis, which stays open until 4am, was the venue for ‘Cinco De Mayo’, the official celebration of F.A.M.E. singer Brown’s 26th birthday, where ‘fashionable swimwear’ was highly encouraged.
Drai’s delivers on its promise as the most luxurious late-night party spot with its luxe leather seating and swanky surroundings, but with champagne bottles for spray only fetching $2,000 for 10, and firework displays from $9,000 per 30 seconds, this is a home for only the wealthiest of guests.
After overcoming Pacquiao in fine style, making it 48 wins from 48 professional fights, Mayweather had plenty to celebrate, and it seemed his ex-girlfriend’s potential lawsuit against him for defamation was the least of his concerns.
‘Money’ claimed that Josie Harris was on drugs during a domestic violence incident in September 2010. But he put the potential lawsuit to one side as he splashed the cash at the dimly lit late-night party spot.
Mayweather has one more contracted fight with television company Showtime in September.
