Cazorla: I’m valued at Arsenal

CAZORLA-EVERTONLONDON, April 1- Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla says he is aware of interest from Atletico Madrid, but insists he is happy at the Emirates Stadium.

The Spaniard has long been linked with a move back to his homeland, with the current Primera Division champions reportedly keen on his signature.

Cazorla has missed just a single game for the Gunners this season, netting seven goals along the way, and says he feels valued at Arsenal, although admitting that anything can happen in football.

“I’ve heard [about Atletico’s interest], like everybody,” the midfielder told Spanish publication El Mundo.

“But at the moment there is nothing concrete, only rumours. I don’t worry about that.

“I’m focused on Arsenal, where I am very happy. I have another year on my contract and the option for one more.

“As long as I feel valued, I will continue here… although you never know what the future will bring in football.”
