  1. Another milestone in Africa,a despot is cornered & killed in a
tunnel, may the strongwilled Libyans find true democracy in their
    governance.

  2. He had been captured in fact they were beating him up according to one of the soldiers…He pleaded, ‘Don’t shoot, don’t shoot’ but they did shoot. I am for Libya’s liberation and I have been a supporter of these uprisings ever since Algeria, but that wasn’t necessary.
Him begging for his life after he had sworn to go down a martyr makes me sad…At that point, all that went out the window and he just wanted to live…I wish they had just captured him, kept him alive & sent him to the Hague.

  3. They didn’t have to kill him after he had surrendered and was pleading for his life. The images coming through regarding the death of Gaddafi shows that he was actually alive at the time he was captured and it is very disturbing to see his images, seemingly pleading for his life. I find it very disturbing that he had to be killed, seemingly at close range, with chaotic NTC fighters celebrating while blood was oozing out of Gaddafi’s body. Gaddafi may have been a sworn enemy but it was in contravention of the UN Declaration of Human Rights to kill a prisoner of war who had surrendered. I am strong believer of the liberation of the people of Libya, though.

    1. Very well said Kimutai every,no one deserves to be killed without a trial even if they had killed a million people. That is what justice is about a trial and sentencing.Killing a person like an animal shows they are different from him.Anyway they will pay dearly,it is clear whoever “liberates” by the gun also dies by the gun.Look at Iraq after disposing Sadaam and hanging him they are still fighting and bombing each other.
      Farewell “King of Africa”.

  5. J have no blame for anyone who killed him even if he had surrendered. What is this about killing just one Gaddafi against the 25,000 dead innocent civillians!?

  6. How low can a sinful man go?After living the King-lifestyle,Gaddafi ended up in a culvert. All in the name of saving his life!!…………The same will happen for all those who do oppressive things inconsiderately……Recall what happened to the World News…….Many more will follow suit……Wish you all a upright day

  7. @mosesII What about the millions Bush killed. What about the thousands that are being killed in Syria. Simple Somalia, Syria, Uganda have nothing to benefit NATO. At least he gave his people Free Electricity, water, medicare and the list is endless. Why have a democratic Election and prices of essentials are skyrocketing e.g Kenya, U.S and all those stinkong democratic nations

  8. the message to other despots around Africa continent is very clear, hand on at your own peril. One man cannot rule a country of many other qualified men and women for over ten years and still expect to be pampered. Kudos to NTC fighters
