ROME, Italy, May 27- Mario Balotelli will be sold by AC Milan club at this summer’s transfer market, the Corriere dello Sport reported on Monday.
The striker managed 14 League goals for the Rossoneri last season to see they missed out on European qualification for the first time since 1997-98.
According to some speculation on local media, the Milan club hierarchy, including president Silvio Berlusconi, are keen to offload him in order to raise funds for other transfer deals.
The Corriere dello Sport reiterated that the asking price Milan set for Balotelli could be at least 30 million euros. They paid only 20 million euros for his transfer from Manchester City in January 2013.
The Rome-based publication also suggested that one of the Diavolo’s motives of the Balotelli sale is to ‘brighten the atmosphere at Milanello’.
It is believed that the Rossoneri are already working with Balotelli’s representative Mino Raiola on a solution.
Monaco continue to be listed as an interested party ready to pay asking price, but the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are seen as potential bidders too. Enditem
