Wenger silent on Remy link

LOIC-REMYLONDON, England, April 27-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has refused to comment on speculation that the London club are lining up a summer move for striker Loic Remy.

The 27-year-old, who is currently on a season-long loan at Newcastle United, is widely expected to depart parent club Queens Park Rangers in the upcoming transfer window.

And due to the fact that Arsenal were linked with the Frenchman while he was still on the books of Marseille, it seems likely that Wenger will revive his interest in the frontman in the off-season.

However, Wenger has refused to confirm whether he intends to launch a transfer bid for the France international.

“He is a good striker. But we are focused on the end of the season, not on strikers,” Wenger said.
Remy has also been linked with the likes of Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
