LONDON, England, March 31- Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly preparing an audacious £70million swoop for Liverpool superstar Luis Suarez.
The Galacticos are known admirers of the Uruguay international and were even believed to have made an approach for his services during the January transfer period.
The Reds managed to rebuff any advances, though, and Suarez has since gone on to further raise his stock, with Sunday’s strike in the 4-0 win over Tottenham leaving him with 29 Premier League goals for the season – nine more than current Golden Boot runner-up and team-mate Daniel Sturridge.
This form has now led to reports that Madrid could return with a vengeance at the end of the current season, with manager Carlo Ancelotti believed to have been given the financial backing to bid for the forward.
However, Suarez only recently signed a new long-term deal at Anfield, although his contract is thought to contain a release clause which the Primera Liga title chasers could look to activate, while also offering up either full-back Fabio Coentrao or midfielder Isco to sweeten the deal.
