LONDON, England, March 25- Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio has rubbished rumours that the club are closing in on a deal for Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna.
Rumours have been rife that the Italian giants are poised to make a move for Sagna, whose contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the season.
Ausilio has dismissed the rumours, asserting that any travelling he has done recently has had nothing to do with Sagna nor Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.
“There’s no connection with my trips and the same is for Dzeko,” said Ausilio.
“There is the opportunity to travel when we don’t have matches during the week. It’s an opportunity to develop contacts by being around other people in the industry,” he added.
Inter have already secured the signature of Manchester United centre-back Nemanja Vidic, who has agreed to join the Italian outfit when his current contract expires at the end of the season.
