LONDON, England, March 3- Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Manchester United will soon find their feet under new manager David Moyes.
United have endured a torrid time of it this term, Moyes’ first at the helm, with the Scot struggling to repeat the success achieved by Ferguson.
The Red Devils are currently seventh in the Premier League standings and are in danger of crashing out of Europe’s top club competition after losing the first leg of their last-16 tie with Olympiakos 2-0.
However, while many have suggested that the Old Trafford outfit should cut their losses and part ways with Moyes, Ferguson is confident that the former Everton boss will soon right the ship.
“They (United) will be all right,” said Ferguson.
“It’s early days and there have been a lot of changes. He (Moyes) needs time. I was there for 27 years, so with a new manager, it takes time. But they’ll be okay.”
