Airtel roll out United Valentine’s trip

ROONEY-CELEBRTAENAIROBI, Kenya, February 4- A men’s only trip to watch English Premier League champions, Manchester United play Aston Villa at Old Trafford to mark Valentine’s Day is on the cards for Airtel Kenya customers.

The integrated communication service provider has unveiled a promotion where the winners will be announced on February 15.

“To participate in the promotion, customers only need to buy a Manchester United SIM card, a special SIM kit available at all Airtel shops for Sh1,000 insert the SIM card into their phones and then dial 141 to activate and enjoy the benefits.

“All existing customers only need to dial *311# to join the unique Valentine experience,” a statement from the firm said on Tuesday.

Five hospitality tickets will be won that entail Canapés, drinks and buffet before the match, refreshments during half time, drinks and DJ after the final whistle, opportunity to tour the Old Trafford stadium and United Museum tour either a day before the game or a day after the game.

“Our customers should prepare themselves to take advantage of this unique promotion that is set to give our loyal and passionate customers a Valentine’s experience with a difference to watch United play Villa live at Old Trafford on Saturday, March 29,”
Airtel Kenya managing director, Shivan Bhargava, said.

The Airtel partnership with the EPL champions spreads to the annual Airtel Rising Stars program and the Manchester United Soccer Clinic where selected students from the competition attend a special soccer clinic with coaches from club.

Last month, the partners brought the EPL trophy to Kenya.
