LONDON, England, October 35- Fulham are considering a January bid for Inter Milan midfielder McDonald Mariga according to reports.
The Harambee Stars international, who was once courted by Manchester City, is available for around £6million after being frozen out by coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
Mariga who was not available to play for Stars in their recent friendly against Bafana Bafana has also attracted interest from Reading.
He is yet to play for Inter after returning from loan spells at Spanish side Real Sociedad and Serie A outfit Parma AC.
Mariga made 21 starts and four substitute appearances for both clubs last season scoring four times before injury ruled him out.
The midfielder won the treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010 after the current Real Madrid manager secured his services after his move to City fell through when the British Home Office declined to issue him with a work permit due to Kenya’s low FIFA ranking.
Younger brother and rising Celtic star, Victor Wanyama, has also attracted keen Premiership interest with a host of clubs including Manchester United rumored to be preparing to swoop for him in January.
