    1. This is a private corporation restructuring it’s operation to stay profitable. KQ is not gov’t owned nor controlled. The Kenyan gov’t is just a shareholder like the rest.

  1. Too bad for innocent Kenyans,good job evaluation should be done.Something is cooking there,i think they should be recruiting not laying off .IS KQ expanding or Sinking.When a business expands we employ when its sinking we lay off.Why did they employ this people ,why only KQ?????????.

    1. Are you being facetious ? Haven’t you been hearing about the Euro crisis that has reduced the fliers to Kenya as a result? With reduced revenue, you cut costs. If you were running that airline, it would be defunct by now.
