Shivam earns the ‘rungu’

After the race, the hard charging rider was made a ‘Maasai Warrior’ and renamed ‘Ole’ Vinayak by locals of Dol Dol.

In Maasai culture, the rungu (club) is an important symbol of warrior status for young males and this was precisely the prize Vinayak got from locals.

Dol Dol was just fantastic to Shivam who got back to the winning groove. “I’m on cloud nine,” the rider quipped as he hoisted the club bestowed to him for the spirited ride.
