Bale and Nasri were among seven nominees from the Premier League for each of their top prizes.
Also nominated for the top prize were Bale’s Spurs team-mate Rafael Van der Vaart, Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez, Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, West Ham midfielder Scott Parker and Blackpool’s Charlie Adam.
England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, Everton’s Seamus Coleman and Manchester United duo Nani and Javier Hernandez were nominated for the young player award.
