NAIROBI, Kenya, February 28- Kenya will face New Zealand and Wales in the pool stage of the Adelaide Sevens set for April 2-3.
Benjamin Ayimba’s side locked horns with both sides in the same stage of the competition at Las Vegas earlier this month losing to the Kiwis 25-10 and beating the Welsh 19-12.
Cook Islands make up the remainder of the pool in which Kenya hope to build on their last tour of the United States and New Zealand.
Kenya is currently 12th on the International Rugby board (IRB) standings with 12 points.
The tournament will take place at the historic Adelaide Oval where Kenya reached the main cup final two years ago before losing 26-7 to South Africa.
Before traveling to Australia, Kenya have to tackle the white hot atmosphere of the Hong Kong Sevens where they are in Pool D alongside Fiji, Russia and Malaysia.
