Stars fall to Bafana Bafana

NAIROBI, Kenya, February 10- Harambee Stars were put to the sword at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium by South Africa who beat them 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Davide Somma put the hosts ahead in the second minute by tapping in a cross from Anele Ngcongca.

Stars striker almost pulled one back for Kenya midway through the first half but his attempt went straight at Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Steven Pienaar put the match to bed in the 42nd minute with a thunderous shot from inside the box set by a corner kick from Siphiwe Tshabalala.

Stars next international assignment is the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on March 25 at home.
