I just saw the video Kony 2012 now for the first time and I’m very sceptical. The problem with this video is that it deals with a serious issue but uses suggestive and stereotyping means AND it promotes the further deployment of US military ‘advisers’ in Africa. One thing is sure, the U.S. (military) was and is not carrying for the Ugandan people or the African people as a whole but for their own national/economic interests… Kony has to be stopped but there are far more dangerous people out there who are to powerful and influential to be stopped by such an initiative.
Please explain abit more on what does not meet the eye because most of us have almost given up on Africa tooooo many disappointments. Is Africa ever going to change ????
