ORLANDO, March 1 – Orlando overcame a lackluster performance from Dwight Howard to notch a 96-80 NBA victory over Miami on Sunday, spoiling Dwyane Wade's return from injury for the Heat.Rashard Lewis scored 22 points, and Vince Carter added 17, while Howard – who had 20 straight double-doubles – was hindered by foul trouble and finished with just seven points and five rebounds.
JJ Redick added 15 points for the Magic, who beat the Heat for the first time in three games this season.
Wade, who returned for Miami after missing four games with a strained calf, led Miami with 21 points.
Jermaine O’Neal added 16 points, but Miami lost their fourth in a row.
Wade and O’Neal combined to get Howard in foul trouble, but the Heat couldn’t take advantage when the Magic’s All-Star center went to the bench.
