Massa heads to Miami for more tests

SAO PAULO, August 26 – Brazilian F1 racer Felipe Massa is to go to Miami this Friday for more tests during his recovery from head injuries sustained in a Hungarian qualifying crash a month ago, Formula 1 officials said.MASSA_STICHES_Massa will be examined by the chief doctor of the US-based CART series, Steve Olvey, they said on the official F1 website.

The Brazilian, who has been convalescing in Sao Paulo after surgery in Hungary for skull fractures, was quoted as telling his Ferrari team he would go to a Miami hospital for the tests.

Massa said he watched Sunday’s European Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain, on television at home with his wife. Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen, who finished third, wore a helmet bearing get-well wishes to Massa during the race.

"I felt very emotional when I saw his helmet with a design intended to homage me," Massa said.

Although the Brazilian has said he is keen to get back to racing, perhaps as early as October, his team has given no date for his return.

Retired German champ Michael Schumacher had initially been announced as Massa’s temporary replacement with Ferrari, but ended up pulling out because of an old neck injury.

CORD has mastered the art of propaganda to perfection. Mungiki and its leaders are part of Cord. They should stop the games and wait for March 4th.

Mr. Mutunga,, as a good Kenyan i believe that this is a political game from some unpatriotic kenyans to implicate mungiki alleging to be supporting uhuru. They will try all manner of tactics to win but Kenyans have already decided whom they will vote.

And Kenyans should watch out for some associations and consultations especially with some neighbouring politicians. There have been visits especially to Uganda by some leaders with reciprocal visits by Ugandan politicians and businessmen some of whom are in jail or before court but who are aligned to the ruling party. Manipulations and insinuations can be dangerous so evolving situations need careful and principled analysis to effectively understand and respond. Who does what, why and how?

Our Presidential Candidate, Hon Uhuru Kenyatta, has been subjected to
numerous threats by the outlawed group and his steadfast refusal to
give-in to their criminal demands has resulted in Mungiki members
fabricating evidence against him and presenting false testimony before
the International Criminal Court (ICC). We encourage the Chief Justice
to follow the lead of Uhuru Kenyatta and stalwartly resist all pressures
from Mungiki and its associate……………so Mungiki took Uhuru to the Hague?

We also take this opportunity to point out that Mungiki has been
formalized into a political party and it is part of the CORD alliance.
Therefore it is only proper that CORD be made to account for the actions
of one of its member parties……….can you record a statement with the police and provide the evidence, and for how long have you known this?

Thirdly, while we are not in a position to shed light on some of the
allegations the Chief Justice made particularly those concerning certain
government officials; we wish to emphatically deny that the Chief
Justice has been threatened by supporters of Uhuru Kenyatta or William
Ruto…………………….do you remote control all your supporters;won’t it could have been appropriate to simply state that in the event any of your supporters is involved you as a coalition do not support that?

“we call on the Inspector-General of Police to move with speed to firstly enhance the security of the Chief Justice and secondly to initiate investigations into this matter. The nefarious plot against the Chief justice must be comprehensively investigated and the culprits brought to book.” Were the the Arthur brothers investigated? Who brought them to book?

Pretentiously condemning irresponsible behavior by your party members, who are primed to believe that elections are tribal schemes and genuinely doing so, are totally two different things. Of course, the idea of rolling out tribalism disguised as tribal numbers is TNA’s ill-timed finest artwork! Thus, any consequences that might be brought by such entirely lie on your doorstep.

Wow! Perhaps cooking up more or same accusations does the trick! If indeed Uhuru Kenyatta has been threatened by Mungiki, why have Kenyans not been made to know? And ICC evidence is not a fabrication! Trial is yet to start and given that cases have been confirmed, fabrication angle is neither here nor there. By the way, Kenyans have noted with alot of alarm village cabals attempting to upstage everybody. CJ’s situation is certainly clear case of those attempts being put in play. Alleged sources behind it all are the same ones that claimed to be “JUST WAITING” to swear in TNA’s presidential candidate! Would one doubt such clear pattern of events?

Purporting Mungiki has been formalize in to a political party affliated to CORD actually helps to blow up TNA’s cover! Thats because former Mungiki leader, who reportedly became a christian, is the one who formed a party. Mungiki adherants have never said they joined the party. Such seriously claims that are not back by irrefutable evidence are definitely meant for diversion from this serious issue at hand. In the absence of hard evidence, such alleged connection should be dismissed with the contempt they deserve, if not seen as self-icriminatory! Furthermore, if blatant lies are pushed around for purposes of evasion, what would stop Kenyans from believingg that indeed Uhuru and Ruto supporters have threatened the CJ?

What do you mean by “it is very easy for some mischief makers to write a letter and say they are jubilee supporters?” Why would it be easy to write to CJ on mischievious matters that can easily land you in prison? Perhaps, jubilee has a clear view on how that happened?! Otherwise, why attempt to trivialize such a extremely serious issue? Furthermore, the letter was not ambigious and it particulary mentioned Uhuru/Ruto integrity cases! In your estimation, is that flimsy grounds? Or it would have hugely pleased you if those mentioned were never revealed?

The fact of the matter is that CJ didnt write the letter. It came from disclared source. In the circumstances, question of sensationalism and melodrama cant arise at all. These twisted arguments seemingly only help Kenyans in identifying the exact source! CJ’s life was in mortal danger and clear signs of unusual hostility had cropped up. Would it have been befitting to report such threats to jubilee alliance? And what exactly does these overtly ridiculing pronouncements point to? Kenyans have witnessed alot of village mischiefs at national table. They have every right to draw their own conclusions in this matter!!!!
