LONDON, July 15 – Wigan confirmed contracts with defenders Titus Bramble and Emmerson Boyce until 2012 on Tuesday, the club said.New manager Roberto Martinez told the club’s official website: "When you look at the performances of the two players over recent seasons it’s a great reward from the club to offer them contract extensions,
"They’re real ambassadors for the club and great professionals who give you a good sense of continuity and competitiveness,
"They offer stability, set themselves high standards and are excellent examples to follow."
The 29-year-old Boyce, whose only goal last season was the last-minute winner against West Bromwich Albion said of the new manager:"Swansea received a lot of plaudits last season about how well they played and you can only assume he wants to bring that style of play to Wigan."
