MADRID, July 9 – Sevilla signed Ivory Coast international midfielder Didier Zokora from Tottenham Hotspur on a four-year contract, the Spanish club said on their website on Wednesday.The club did not reveal financial details, except to say that the termination clause for the 28-year-old was set at 30 million euros (42 million dollars).
Zokora joined Tottenham from French side St Etienne in 2006 and was part of the side that won the 2008 League Cup. He had previously played in Belgium with Racing Genk.
Sevilla finished third in the Spanish league last season, earning it a spot in the Champions League.
